Dare To Wear
- 'Dare To Wear' is a school organization that a group of other students and I are in the process of initiating to promote the Textile, Merchandising, and Fashion Design department on campus.
- I was elected to the executive board as the Graphic Designer to create visuals like posters, flyers, stickers, and merchandise for our club.
Marc Jacobs Holiday Sample Package Design
- As an assignment for my Product Development 3 class, we were instructed to design winter/holiday themed packaging for a sample size product.
- I designed packaging for the Marc Jacobs Velvet Nior Major Volume Mascara based off the signature Marc Jacobs Tote Bag.
- My intention was to create a novelty product packaging that embodies the luxury element of Marc Jacobs.
- I also included a small window on the front of the product so customers can clearly identify what is included in the package.
Slo'D
- The concept of the brand "Slo'D" (Pronounced Slow-"D") is to create vintage inspired basics that are both environmentally friendly and adaptable.
- Products for this brand are created to have versatility in personal style and gender expression.
- This collection is named after the 1900's lingo "Do Tell" meaning surprised/tell me more.
- The garments themselves are also based on the 19th century, specifically Victorian wear.
- To promote sustainable practices and reduce textile waste, the garments would be made of deadstock, remnants, reused, and recycled fabrics.
Slo'D: Brand Project
- For my Product Development 3 class, we are currently working on a semester long project with the task of developing a mock brand and product line.
- The brands mission is to utilize recycled fabrics and upcycled textiles to create unique and affordable children's garments.
- Goal is to give parents the opportunity to shop guilt-free for their children's clothes.
